Jay Forte: Powerful Performance Speaker, Educator, Talent Strategist, and Author
Originally trained as a CPA, turned financial executive, turned educator turned speaker/consultant, Jay now has more than 20 years of teaching adults with a focus on skills that improve the work and life bottom line. He has developed instructional methods that have been specifically designed for adult learners.
A passionate seasoned professional speaker, and a highly creative and innovative program leader, Jay keeps the attention of his audiences and clients with dynamic and animated activities, high impact material and practical solutions to current business, management and customer issues. He is a firm believer in the theory that “those who are talking and participating are learning,” therefore, much of his programs and keynotes actively involve the audience or class. Through props, music, activities and his highly effective instructional method known as IDEAS, he assures that learning is practical, interesting and fun. At the heart of all great performance is an active mind, open to learning and inventing… Jay drives his material by engaging each learner to actively and creatively think.
Jay has spent most of his career in the financial arena, and subjects all of his education to his sound financial bottom line business perspectives. All of his programs have a creativity refresher because a creative mind, even when dealing with strategy, financial analysis or human capital, provides greater ideas, thinking and solutions to today’s complex workplace issues.
A prolific author, Jay has published nearly 2 dozen articles in the areas of millennial management, employee performance, coaching, mentoring, strategy, customer service and living a STAND OUT life. He has been published in over 50 different periodicals, magazines, newsletters and on-line formats and has been a guest on business talk radio programs. He is working on his first book titled, Sparks! Fire Up Your Employees and Smoke Your Competition: How to Invite, Incite and Ignite Performance.
Jay was identified as #74 of the top 100 Thought Leaders of 2007 by Leadership Excellence.
