Our financial world is changing before our eyes. Its uncertainty has reminded us of how we must be fully in control or our financial house – at home and at work. So this week, let’s review a few ways that when we spend, we spend wisely. Let’s review ways to spend that generate great returns; let’s see how we can amplify the effect and make every penny count.
Today’s tip: Show employees that you spend wisely on their development. On a slower day, a Saturday or some other point where time allows, host an employee meeting with a powerful performance speaker. Focus the speaker on areas of the business that need improvement and use the program to inspire ideas and introduce new skills. Have all employees create action plans to use what they learned. The return? Greater contribution, more accountability and greater loyalty.
