If you want to fire up your customers – get them excited about your business – start by firing up your employees. First things first. Excited, passionate and engaged employees think and act in great ways with customers.

Sixty-five percent of employees do just enough in their jobs so that you don’t fire them (results from work done by the Gallup Organization). These employees are coasting through the day. Why? What is on their minds? Why do they seem so uninspired? And unless you do something about it, this same attitude will come through in their service with customers. These employees are the face and image of your business to your cusotmers. Is it the impression you want? Sure, service is important…but employee engagement and passionate performance is more important. What does this look like at your business?
